Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to establish relationships with many Black entrepreneurs.
Through these relationships, we have heard firsthand about the challenges they have encountered while trying to secure capital to expand their businesses, and inversely the challenges Black investors face trying to navigate the venture landscape.
Recognizing these hurdles, we founded SBLK Ventures.
This investor community provides angel investors with a low-risk, diversified way to invest in promising Black-led companies while building their wealth.
Investment Thesis
We will be investing primarily in the early to late seed stage, which we define as post-product, meaning that the company's minimum viable product already exists on the market.
We are looking to see early traction to validate product-market fit.
